Boho Wedding in the Woods at Foxwood House || Spokane Wedding Photographer || Lembcke Wedding

September 29, 2019

This boho wedding in the woods at Foxwood House was definitely one I will never forget! As a Spokane Wedding photographer I am able to meet new people, but also allow me to reconnect with old friends. I’ve known Jennifer since I was 16, while working together at Didier’s Yogurt & More. Fast forward 6+ years… Jennifer + Shawn won a mini session when I was doing a giveaway in November of 2018. It snowed the morning of our session, and it was a chilly one but I had the best time!! It was so special being able to document her engagement photos, so you can image how I felt when she sent me an email asking if I had the date open to document her wedding!! She explained it all, and mentioned they were doing the ceremony in the woods at Foxwood House! It is such a dreamy location and I knew Jennifer would be able to fully customize it to her liking.

The best part, the first time Shawn saw his beautiful bride was when she walked down the aisle!! Wooooo was it beautiful and so so emotional. Keep scrolling to see Shawn’s face when he saw her walking down the aisle for the first day that day! So special to see his excitement and joy to starting a life as husband and wife with Jenn. If you scroll through how the day unfolded, I started with the grooms party and some details before I met Jennifer and Jessica for the finishing touches on her makeup. Jenn got in her dress, and met her father at the bottom of the stairs inside of Foxwood House. After bridal party photos, I went to check on Shawn to find him emotional as can be because he couldn’t believe that after all the triumphs life threw at him, he found his dream woman. I snapped a few pics, shed a few tears with a big bear hug from Shawn, and off I went to the ceremony site. So much love was flowing through the grounds of Foxwood House I didn’t want to leave.

The weekend of the wedding was one of the craziest our weather has ever been in the PNW. During their engagement session in 2018, there was snow on the ground. How ironic that it would snow on their wedding day, on September 29,2019. Jennifer rocked her snow boots and you would have never known it was 30 degrees outside. Scroll to the bottom to see some the most epic and steamy couples photos post ceremony you’ve ever laid your eyes on.

Thank you both so much for trusting me to document your day, and for all the happy tears. This day was stunning and I cannot wait to watch your future unfold as husband and wife!

5 Star Review from the Groom: “Where do I begin!? She is amazing, professional, and turns out she’s a darn good photographer. Her work is top notch and her attitude is even better! She has a way of making you feel as if you have been friends forever. I would recommend Bailey for any of your photography needs, from small family sessions to photographing your big day!! Thanks for all of your wonderful work Bailey. We will definitely be using you for our future photography needs!!” - S. Lembcke
